A 19th century English school watercolour  of a moonlit beach scene, framed and glazed, 10.8 x 13.3cm
We just don't know - this little scene looks like an illustration for Robert Louis Stevenson or Wilkie Collins.  Devon? Cornwall? Who knows, but it is a little jewel carrying the feeling of a scene from a Victorian novel.
