J C Vickery were gold and silversmith retailers based in Regent Street, London from 1890.  The company held a large number of Royal Warrants to European royalty including the Kings of Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Schleswig Holstein and Britain.  The firm went into administration in 1930 when John Collard Vickery died and was taken over by James Walker Ltd.  These little boxes were part of dressing table sets and make perfect little presents as an alternative to the smelly stuff or the grand box of chocolates.

Some wear commensurate with age and use.
