How could you resist if you are a lover of flat faced dogs and Art Deco.  This gloriously ridiculous pair are made of  800, otherwise known as Continental Silver, which is 80% pure.  Georges  H Laurent was a French sculpture,  1880 -1940 whose stylised animal bronzes, often pairs of bookends, and occasional silver pieces, mostly seem to date from around 1930.
