A decent copy of another of Freda Derrick’s delightful illustrated books for children from 1920s/1930s, published by Blackie and Son Ltd., London and Glasgow. The book has colour printed illustrations with text, bound in publisher’s cream boards, the front with a large colour printed paper panel, cream cloth spine, plain endleaves and edges.  All rubbed and a little worn but intact and all illustrations in good state.
 
Eleanor Freda Derrick 1892-1969) was born in Cheltenham and studied at Cheltenham School of Art.  Her better known The Ark Book is also for sale on this website.
