Indistinctly signed, 72 x 60 cm, framed
This painting was described as 20th century Indian when we acquired it but we suspect that it is Thai – the saffron robes are worn mainly by Theravada monks and nuns in South East Asia. We have so far been unable to decipher the signature properly but it also looks like a Thai name. This is a striking and attractive  image which has been enhanced with excellent framing by QED.
